Setting up project, issues types and linking in Jira
Step-by-Step Guide
Create or select a project
Add a new project (e.g. SAP Transport Panel) or select an existing project which consists of issues, which result in a SAP transport request.

Add new issue types or select existing issue types for SAP transport management.

Create or select an issue type scheme
Add a new issue type scheme or select an existing issue type scheme for the relevant issue types.

Associate the issue type scheme to the Jira project
Associate the issue type scheme to the relevant project to use the set of issue types for the SAP transport management.

Create an issue linking
Add a new issue linking for the linkage of an automatically created transport of copies and the original transport request (Copy and release a transport in SAP via Jira transition).
