CLOUD Install SAP Transport Panel in SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA

The installation files of the SAP component of SAP Transport Panel are delivered via an ERP transport request.

Step-by-Step guide

Step	Procedure
1	Receive the installation files via an ERP transport request with: the namespace /IX2/ the package /IX2/JTMS all objects contained in the package an additional transport request with the basic customizing
2	Check text file Transport notes.txt You receive a text file Transport notes.txt together with the ERP transport requests. The text file Transport notes.txt displays the exact names of the transports and their order of import. You need to read the text file Transport notes.txt before you import the ERP transport requests.
3	Call the transaction STMS.
4	Navigate to the import overview or use the F5 key.
5	Select the system into which you want to import the transport of SAP Transport Panel via the truck symbol. At minimum you need to import the functionality to your Development Systems. If you want to have an import feedback in Jira from your Quality System and Production System you also need to import the functionality on those systems. To ensure a smooth process, we recommend importing the transports to all systems.
6	Add the transport to the import queue via Extras → Additional requests → Add.
7	Mark the transport in the import queue.
8	Start the import via the truck symbol or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+F11. Import error In case of an import error (RC = 8) please contact your responsible consultant.
